You have to first kill few patrols before you can lure it. Otherwise they come to you sooner or later while you are attacking the queen.

It's not a green item (although I'm sure the mod will be found on a future green, no doubt). -5 dmg (20%) is just a new shield mod put into the game.

i dont get the hype. ive got it. and then i was looking at it and realized something.

the koreans already have this staff. they got it as a promo item. its the motha fuggin coke play staff.

No its not.

There is no monk staff for Japan, Taiwan or Korea. They all got offhands with the same stats.

Energy +12 (req. 9 Divine Favor)
Halves casting time of Healing Prayers spells (Chance: 20%)
Halves casting time of Protection Prayers spells (Chance: 20%)

That is not the same as this staff at all.

Anyways, just farmed the thing to death, ended up with 4 of them. Its such a quick run, that everyone and their mom will have one of these in a day or two and they will be worth pretty much nothing.

Did you solo it or go with a small team? I haven't been out there yet so I don't know first hand how tough it is. I've read everything from easy to impossible to solo.

Get yourself a Warrior, Monk and a MM. Extremely fast. Won't take long. 1 run = 5-10 mins

Question - do we have to kill all the patrol/bodyguards before killing the boss? I've done 4 runs, nothing dropped yet, gonna do a few more.

I was going to make a thread about it, was suprised when i saw the new scarabs when i was out farming griffons. Didnt even get to the griffons

Guildies and myself always 2 maned Griffons to make the runs go faster. There should be no change for us.

Most of the time the bodyguards won't move from their spots, so you can run in, aggro Kepkhet, and run back out with the boss. Don't aggro the patrols though, or at least take em out separately.

i tried to kill the monk boss.. i used mai dragos to far-aim it to drag it out.

but then all of the scarbs around the boss came rushin out at us and sadly we all died ;_;

HENCHIES FTL! haha.
